Job Description

Vice President, Growth Marketing Position Summary Our client is a growing national manufacturer and marketplace for residential home improvements. We're hiring a VP of Growth Marketing for a newly created role. This role serves as the single owner of the marketing function, combining two responsibilities that are often separated but work best together: owning marketing investment decisions and owning the measurement framework that proves those investments generate profitable growth. The Vice President of Growth Marketing will oversee the entire growth marketing engine, including: Marketing budget allocation across channels and funnel stages Attribution and incrementality measurement Marketing operating cadence and weekly business reviews Agency management Measurement integrity and reporting standards Marketing technology strategy and performance visibility
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Leadership Own the complete marketing P&L and growth strategy Allocate budget across channels based on measurable incremental impact Define marketing performance standards and accountability Lead marketing operating cadence and executive reporting Serve as the senior marketing advisor to executive leadership Change Observability & Measurement Excellence Maintaining comprehensive change logs across campaigns, audiences, creative, automation, and tracking Implementing monitoring and alerting for tracking failures and measurement issues Explaining significant metric movement within hours—not weeks Reconciling marketing data across advertising platforms, CRM, call tracking, appointments, and revenue Ensuring marketing reporting remains accurate, trusted, and actionable Budget Strategy & Incrementality Own marketing investment decisions across all paid channels Design and evaluate incrementality testing, geo holdouts, and attribution methodologies Optimize CAC, payback periods, and LTV performance Define and defend marketing-sourced revenue metrics Partner with measurement experts while maintaining executive ownership of decisions Marketing Platform Strategy Define lifecycle stages and customer journeys Establish tracking requirements and conversion events Define lead routing and scoring logic Own reporting architecture and measurement standards Ensure monitoring systems proactively identify issues Agency & Cross-Functional Leadership Lead weekly marketing operating reviews Hold internal teams and agency partners accountable Manage creative, measurement, and media agencies Transition appropriate work from agencies to AI-enabled internal processes Partner closely with Sales, Operations, and Brand leadership Market Expansion Build repeatable go-to-market playbooks for new market launches Develop scalable paid acquisition frameworks Create repeatable testing and optimization processes Execute growth initiatives while operating within established brand guidelines Required Qualifications Experience leading a marketing organization with rigorous measurement and operational discipline History of managing $5M+ annual paid media budgets with full P&L accountability Deep expertise in incrementality testing, attribution, marketing mix modeling, and performance measurement Strong understanding of: Server-side tracking Conversion APIs Call tracking Lead capture systems Identity resolution Marketing data architecture Experience leading marketing operations and agency partners Background in high-consideration, high-ticket consumer industries such as: Home Services Insurance Automotive Real Estate Healthcare Financial Services Demonstrated hands-on use of AI tools for marketing optimization, measurement, and operations Comfortable operating in a lean, highly technical organization
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$200,000-$250,000 , commensurate with experience.
