Vice President of Marketing Rubcorp Grapevine, TX Job Details Full-time $100,000 - $150,000 a year 3 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Qualifications Performance dashboard reports Social media advertising campaigns Marketing ROI (MROI) improvement Email marketing Growth hacking Managing marketing teams Dashboard creation Marketing company internal data Reporting and dashboarding tools Data interpretation Data-driven problem-solving Marketing analytics Paid search marketing Full Job Description We are looking for a hands-on VP of Marketing / Growth to lead marketing across a growing portfolio of companies in the premium surfacing, backyard construction, athletic court, equine facility, and specialty construction markets. Our current brands include Rubcorp, QuadruCare, and 365 Custom Courts, and we are actively acquiring and building additional companies. Today, the portfolio generates approximately $15 million to $20 million in annual revenue, and our goal is to build a marketing engine capable of helping scale the platform to $100 million+ in annual revenue. This is not a strategy-only executive role. We need someone who can think at a high level, work directly with ownership and the leadership team, and also get into the details every day. The right person will be comfortable building strategy, managing paid media, improving funnels, hiring and training a team, working with vendors, reviewing creative, analyzing campaign data, building reporting, and making sure leads turn into revenue. We currently spend approximately $50,000 per month on marketing, with the intention to grow that spend to $100,000+ per month as the right systems, tracking, creative, and performance benchmarks are put in place. Our primary channel today is Meta, and we want to expand into a broader, more sophisticated growth engine across additional paid, organic, local, referral, partnership, and lifecycle channels. About the Companies Our companies serve primarily B2C customers, with approximately 10% to 20% B2B opportunity depending on the brand and channel. We serve homeowners, property owners, high-end residential clients, equestrian facilities, contractors, commercial customers, schools, athletic facilities, builders, and other partners. The portfolio includes premium rubber surfacing, sports and recreation surfaces, tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball courts, multi-sport courts, equine surfacing, backyard construction, and related specialty construction services. This is a growth-stage environment. We have strong products, strong brands, existing demand, and an expanding platform. We need a marketing leader who can come in, create structure, increase accountability, build repeatable lead-generation systems, and help us scale across multiple brands and future acquisitions. What You Will Own As VP of Marketing / Growth, you will be responsible for building and leading the marketing function across the entire portfolio. You will work directly with ownership and leadership to turn marketing into a predictable growth engine. This includes both strategic planning and direct execution. You will own demand generation, paid media strategy, creative testing, landing pages, conversion optimization, tracking, reporting, CRM handoff, appointment- setting support, brand positioning, vendor management, agency accountability, and eventually the hiring and development of a larger internal marketing team. Key Responsibilities Lead marketing across Rubcorp, QuadruCare, 365 Custom Courts, and future portfolio companies. This includes building a scalable marketing system that can support both current operations and future acquisitions. Develop and execute a growth plan to scale monthly marketing spend from approximately $50,000 per month to $100,000+ per month while maintaining strong performance standards and financial accountability. Own paid media performance across Meta and additional channels such as Google Ads, YouTube, TikTok, programmatic, retargeting, SEO, local search, email/SMS, direct mail, partnerships, and other channels where appropriate. Build a stronger lead-generation and conversion system across landing pages, forms, call flows, appointment setting, follow-up sequences, CRM workflows, tracking, and reporting. Work closely with the sales team, appointment setters, operations, and leadership to make sure marketing is producing leads that convert into real opportunities and booked revenue. Create and manage testing systems for offers, creative, messaging, landing pages, audiences, markets, and campaigns. We need someone who knows how to test quickly, read the data, and make practical decisions. Manage current marketing support, media-buying resources, vendors, freelancers, and agencies. Over time, you will help decide what should remain outsourced and what should be brought in-house. Build the marketing team as the company grows. This may include hiring for roles such as paid media, creative, content, SEO, lifecycle marketing, marketing operations, videography, design, and brand management. Create marketing dashboards and reporting systems that give leadership clear visibility into spend, leads, cost per lead, booked appointments, close rates, revenue, and ROI by brand and channel. Strengthen brand positioning, messaging, content, and creative direction across the portfolio while keeping each brand distinct and appropriate for its market. Support growth into new markets, new acquisitions, new service lines, and new customer segments as the company expands. This Role Is for You If You are a builder, operator, and executor. You do not need a large corporate department around you to get work done. You can build the plan, open the ad account, review the funnel, work with the setter, call the agency, look at the numbers, and make changes quickly. You are comfortable in a fast-growing entrepreneurial environment where priorities move quickly and the company is actively scaling. You are not looking for a slow corporate role with layers of bureaucracy. You want the opportunity to help build something meaningful. You understand that marketing is not just leads. It is the full system from attention to booked appointment to sales opportunity to closed revenue. You care about lead quality, speed to lead, sales follow-up, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, and return on ad spend. You can work with leadership at a high level, but you are also willing to do the work yourself when needed. We are specifically looking for someone who can execute, not just advise. Ideal Experience The ideal candidate has experience in growth marketing, home services, construction, local service businesses, high-ticket consumer services, multi-location companies, private equity-backed growth, acquisitions, roll-ups, lead generation, paid media, and team building. Experience in these areas is strongly preferred, but we care most about demonstrated ability to build, execute, measure, and scale. Requirements Candidates should have proven experience leading marketing or growth for a company where results were measured by revenue, qualified leads, booked appointments, customer acquisition cost, and return on spend. The right person should be able to show examples of campaigns, systems, teams, or channels they have helped build or scale. Strong experience with paid social, especially Meta, is important. Experience expanding into Google Ads, SEO, local search, retargeting, email/SMS, landing pages, CRM workflows, and creative testing is highly valuable. You should be highly analytical, but also practical. We are looking for someone who can use data to make better decisions without overcomplicating the business. You should be comfortable building dashboards, reviewing campaign performance, and presenting clear recommendations to leadership. You must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This role requires regular collaboration with leadership and the operating teams. Current Team and Growth Opportunity We currently have a small marketing and sales-support structure in place, including appointment-setting support and media-buying support. This role will not start from zero, but it will require building significant structure, accountability, and capability as we scale. The opportunity is substantial. The right person will have the ability to shape the marketing function, influence company growth, help build the team, support future acquisitions, and grow into a larger executive role as the platform grows. Compensation The base salary range is $100,000 to $150,000, depending on experience and fit. Performance-based bonus opportunities will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be tied to measurable growth, lead generation, revenue impact, and overall marketing performance. Why Join Us This is an opportunity to join a growing, entrepreneurial company with strong existing revenue, multiple brands, active acquisition plans, and a clear desire to invest in marketing. We are not looking for someone to maintain the status quo. We are looking for someone who wants to build, execute, lead, and grow with us. If you are a hands-on marketing leader who knows how to generate demand, build systems, scale spend responsibly, and create a real growth engine, we want to talk with you.
