The Opportunity This role works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care division where we are focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We're revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology. As the Marketing Manager Integrated HCP Communications within the Global Strategic Marketing (GSM) team, you will drive the development and execution of integrated HCP communication strategies that bring the value of Abbott Diabetes Care's portfolio to life for healthcare professionals worldwide. You will play a key role in shaping how we engage primary care physicians, specialists, and diabetes care teams — developing global campaigns, messaging toolkits, and enablement programs that connect HCP insights to measurable commercial impact. What You'll Work On Strategy & Campaigns Develop and implement global HCP marketing plans and promotional materials that communicate the clinical and commercial value of Abbott's CGM portfolio across pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases. Build scalable messaging frameworks and omnichannel campaign toolkits deployable across markets and HCP segments — endocrinologist, primary care physicians, specialists, and diabetes care teams. Commercial Enablement Partner with regional and local marketing and commercial teams to develop field engagement strategies, sales force messaging, that empowers reps to engage HCPs effectively. Manage a dynamic repository of approved key messages, product claims, and promotional collateral for HCP segments. Support the development of the annual brand plan, translating strategic priorities into executable HCP tactical plans with clear KPIs. Analytics & Optimization Track, measure, and evaluate the performance of HCP marketing initiatives, establishing metrics that connect campaign activity to prescriber behavior and business outcomes. Apply market insights, competitive intelligence, and evolving HCP behaviors to continuously sharpen strategy and content. Champion closed-loop marketing principles, leveraging CRM and digital platforms (e.g., Veeva CRM, Salesforce) to drive data-informed campaign planning and execution. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Medical Affairs, Clinical, Regulatory, Legal, and Market Access to ensure all communications meet scientific and compliance standards. Collaborate with Global Market Insights to ground strategies in evidence and surface early signals from the diabetes care landscape. Ability to travel globally (~15-20%), including field visits, congresses, and team workshops. Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree At least 4-6 years of experience in healthcare or medical device marketing, with meaningful exposure to HCP-facing roles and global or cross-regional programs. Demonstrated ability to build and execute integrated HCP marketing campaigns — from brief to deployment — in a regulated environment. Experience with congress strategy, promotional content development, and brand planning cycles. Familiarity with CRM and marketing platforms (Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, Salesforce, or equivalent). Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills; comfortable translating scientific and clinical data into clear, compelling marketing communications. Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in a highly matrixed global organization. Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
