In this role, you will serve as a vital link between tenants and management, advocating for residents' needs while promoting community engagement and well-being. Your energy and leadership will drive initiatives that enhance tenant satisfaction, support social services, and build strong neighborhood connections. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by coordinating programs, managing volunteers, and developing initiatives that uplift our community members. Responsibilities Develop and implement community engagement programs that address residents' needs and promote active participation. Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to support community activities, outreach efforts, and social service programs. Facilitate open communication between tenants and property management through meetings, surveys, and feedback channels. Lead public speaking engagements to inform residents about available resources, upcoming events, and community initiatives. Manage social media platforms and marketing efforts to increase awareness of programs and foster community pride. Collect data on resident concerns, program participation, and community needs to inform ongoing improvements. Coordinate with local organizations on health initiatives, addiction counseling services, public health campaigns, and social work programs. Oversee fundraising efforts to support community projects and social services through grant writing or donor outreach. Maintain administrative records related to program activities, volunteer hours, attendance logs, and outreach reports. Support program development by identifying new opportunities for resident engagement and social support services. Skills Proven experience in volunteer management and supervising teams of diverse individuals. Strong public speaking skills with the ability to motivate and inspire community members. Expertise in program development, project management, and event planning. Effective marketing skills including social media management to promote community initiatives. Ability to collect, analyze, and utilize data for program evaluation and improvement. Knowledge of addiction counseling, public health principles, or social work practices is a plus. Leadership qualities with the capacity to recruit volunteers or staff while fostering a collaborative environment. Administrative experience including record keeping, reporting, budgeting, or fundraising activities. Experience in recruiting participants for social programs or educational workshops.
