We are searching for the best talent to join our team as the Senior Manager, Pipeline & Platform Communications, Electrophysiology. Position Summary As Senior Manager, Pipeline & Platform Communications, Electrophysiology, you will shape and amplify the innovation narrative for Johnson & Johnson MedTech's electrophysiology portfolio, translating complex science, clinical evidence, and platform advancements into compelling communications that support pipeline programs, key achievements, and future growth. Working across R D, Scientific and Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Marketing, and Commercial teams, you will develop integrated strategies that elevate scientific leadership and strengthen J&J MedTech's reputation in electrophysiology innovation. The role reports to the Senior Director, Electrophysiology Communications & Public Affairs and is based in Irvine, California. Key Responsibilities Strategic Business Partnership
  • Partner with R D, Scientific, Legal and Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Global Marketing, and Commercial teams to develop communications strategies that support innovation priorities, pipeline programs, platform advancements, and long
  • term business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted communications counselor to innovation leaders, helping translate business and scientific priorities into clear, compelling communications strategies.
  • Collaborate across enterprise, sector, regional, and internal communications teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and impact.
  • Partner closely with Senior Manager, Commercial Communications, to amplify a clear, impactful and consistent Electrophysiology narrative.
  • Embed Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives in communications priorities, counsel, and execution. Innovation Storytelling & Scientific Leadership
  • Lead communications strategies that showcase breakthrough innovation, pipeline progress, technology advancements, and clinical evidence generation across the electrophysiology portfolio.
  • Translate complex scientific, clinical, and technical concepts into accessible and engaging narratives for internal and external audiences.
  • Develop compelling content and thought leadership materials, including messaging, executive presentations, media materials, digital content, videos, and scientific communications.
  • Support communications surrounding key clinical studies, scientific publications, and innovation partnerships.
  • Enhance and protect the Company's reputation by anticipating and managing issues in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Help position Johnson & Johnson MedTech and its electrophysiology leaders as trusted voices driving the future of cardiovascular care. Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing communications, scientific communications, or related fields.
  • Experience developing communications strategies and content in healthcare, life sciences, medical technology, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific, clinical, and technical concepts into clear, compelling communications.
  • Experience supporting executive communications and advising senior leaders.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience collaborating across complex organizations and managing multiple partners.
  • Proven ability to develop integrated communications strategies that drive business and reputation outcomes.
  • Passion for science, innovation, and improving patient outcomes through communications. Preferred
  • Experience supporting R D, innovation, pipeline, clinical, medical affairs, or scientific organizations.
  • Experience in cardiovascular, electrophysiology, medical device, or broader MedTech environments.
  • Experience managing agency and external communications partners. Other

Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
