Job Description

As our Survivor Support and Engagement Advocate on the Moving to End Sexual Assault (MESA) team, you will provide direct advocacy to survivors of sexual violence while also supporting MESA's outreach, prevention education, and holistic healing services. You will provide survivor centered care with a full spectrum of services from crisis response and case management to public education and program coordination. What You Get to
Do:
Provide emotional support, legal and medical advocacy, and short-term case management to survivors of sexual violence. Cover the MESA hotline shifts and respond to crisis calls and provide hospital or law enforcement support as needed. Coordinate and implement holistic health services such as trauma informed yoga, acupuncture, and support groups. Deliver presentations and outreach to community groups about MESA's services, sexual violence dynamics, and prevention strategies. Develop educational and awareness materials (e.g., brochures, flyers, handouts, etc.), for survivors and community partners. Create social media content and campaigns to promote survivor-centered education and engagement. Foster partnerships with other organizations to expand awareness and access to services.
What We Need:
