QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Public Relations, Marketing or related fields or a combination of education and experience in closely a related field.
- Five (5) years of work experience in tourism, event planning, project management or public relations preferred. Social media management experience required.
- Valid Florida Driver's License for business-related travel
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Must have working knowledge of computers and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of Products (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
- Effective customer service practices and appropriate interpersonal skills with diverse community members and other individuals.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work independently and with others.
