Executive & Communications Manager | Faith-based Women's Recovery Program His House for Her Position Summary The Executive & Communications Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the heartbeat of our mission. This position provides direct administrative support to the Executive Director while stewarding the voice, stories, and messaging that help our community understand the impact of His House for Her. This is a mission-minded, detail-oriented, and creative role—perfect for someone who is passionate about helping women heal, thrive, and rebuild their lives. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, compassionate, and able to communicate with excellence in a fast-paced, ministry-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Executive Support Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, track action items, and support follow-through with grace and accuracy. Maintain organized digital files, documentation, and ministry records. Assist with board meeting packets, donor communication, and special documents that reflect our mission's excellence. Help manage receipts, invoices, and basic administrative finance tasks. Support donor relations through thoughtful thank-you messages, updates, and follow-up after events or giving moments. Communications & Storytelling Write warm, mission-aligned content for newsletters, social media, website updates, blogs, and program highlights. Capture and share stories of healing, transformation, and community—always honoring dignity, privacy, and hope. Create simple graphics and short-form videos using Canva or similar tools that align with our brand voice and visual identity. Help shape and support seasonal campaigns, fundraising efforts, and ministry-wide communication initiatives. Assist with photography and short videos during classes, celebrations, and events. Social Media Management Create and schedule engaging, uplifting posts across Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
Maintain our signature brand voice:
warm, hopeful, Christ-centered, trauma-informed, and transformation-focused. Engage with comments and messages in a timely, encouraging, and professional manner. Track social media insights and recommend creative ideas to deepen community engagement. Stay current with evolving platforms, algorithms, and trends. Website & Email Communication Update website content, class offerings, events, and program information with clarity and excellence. Draft and format monthly newsletters, donor updates, and encouragement pieces using our established tone. Maintain segmented email lists and monitor engagement analytics to strengthen our reach. Operations & Event Support Support logistics for donor gatherings, community events, classes, and fundraising initiatives. Assist in maintaining a communication calendar for social media, newsletters, campaigns, and special events. Help coordinate communication with volunteers, community partners, churches, and local businesses. Provide follow-up support to ensure quality, consistency, and forward momentum in all ministry activities. Skills & Qualifications Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills that align with a mission-centered voice. Highly organized with the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines. Basic proficiency in Canva, social media scheduling, and content creation (or willingness to learn). Experience with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), and digital communication platforms. Warm interpersonal skills with professionalism, emotional intelligence, and confidentiality. Nonprofit or ministry experience is a plus but not required. Pay:
$34,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
