Director of Marketing & Communications

The Director of Communications and Marketing is a storyteller, strategist, and brand champion for the County and the organization. This leader will design and drive an integrated communications and marketing program that elevates the region's profile among corporate decision-makers, site selectors, investors, and community stakeholders. Through compelling narratives, data-driven digital strategies, and proactive media engagement, this position will position the County as a premier destination for business growth and investment. The Director will also support the Investor Director with signature events and activations. This position demands fluency in modern marketing and communications, from content strategy and digital storytelling to SEO, video, and AI-assisted tools, combined with deep knowledge of economic development's unique audience and mission. The Director will establish clear KPIs and leverage analytics platforms to continuously measure, refine, and report on the impact of all communications activities. The Director will serve as the organization's primary media spokesperson and point of contact for press inquiries. Reports to the COO.

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
