We're seeking a strategic, influential Sr Director of Global Internal Communications to lead enterprise-wide communication strategy during a period of rapid growth, integration, and organizational evolution. This role is ideal for a communications leader who thrives in complexity, advises executives with confidence, unifies fragmented messaging, and builds communication experiences that strengthen trust and engagement across a global manufacturing organization. What You'll Lead As the enterprise communications leader, you will shape and elevate internal communications strategy while serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership.
You will:
  • Develop and lead a global internal communications strategy aligned to business priorities, culture, and organizational transformation
  • Partner directly with executive leadership on messaging, visibility, change communications, and employee engagement
  • Lead communication strategy for enterprise initiatives including acquisitions, integrations, restructuring, and large-scale organizational change
  • Establish communication governance, channel strategy, enterprise standards, and approval processes
  • Create consistent messaging frameworks that connect employees across functions, regions, facilities, and stakeholder groups
  • Strengthen employee listening, recognition communications, engagement initiatives, and communication measurement practices
  • Advise leadership on sensitive or high-impact communication matters with sound judgment and business awareness
  • Improve the maturity and scalability of the internal communications function through process discipline and leadership enablement
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Operations, Commercial, and Executive teams to drive enterprise alignment What Makes This Role Different This is not a tactical communications role.

You will help create clarity during transformation, strengthen culture across diverse teams, and ensure employees feel informed, connected, and aligned to the company's direction. You'll influence communication strategy at the highest levels while helping shape the future of a global business. What We're Looking For We're seeking a polished, strategic communicator who combines executive presence with operational discipline and the ability to influence across a complex organization.
Ideal candidates bring:
  • 8+ years of progressive internal communications, corporate communications, or employee engagement leadership experience
  • Experience supporting large, multi-site or global organizations
  • ideally within manufacturing, industrial, or operational environments
  • Proven success leading communication strategies during organizational change, acquisitions, integrations, or transformation initiatives
  • Experience advising senior and executive leadership teams
  • Strong communication governance, messaging architecture, and change communications expertise
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with execution and operational follow-through
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Strong business acumen, judgment, and ability to navigate sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
  • Experience leading or influencing multi-cultural teams across regions or countries
