We help organizations stay secure, productive, and supported through proactive IT management, cybersecurity services, and responsive support. We are looking for a motivated, outgoing professional to help expand our presence in the local business community and strengthen our brand through marketing and relationship-building. Position Overview The Marketing & Community Manager will serve as a key ambassador for Magnitech in the DuPage County business community. This role blends marketing execution with community engagement and light business development support. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys networking, attending events, building partnerships, and creating marketing momentum for a growing company. Key Responsibilities Community Engagement & Networking Represent Magnitech at local business events, chamber functions, networking groups, and community activities. Build relationships with business owners, executives, and community leaders. Identify and coordinate local sponsorship opportunities. Help strengthen Magnitech's visibility and reputation in the market. Marketing & Brand Support Manage and coordinate social media activity (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram). Promote Magnitech's community involvement, team culture, and client success stories. Assist with email campaigns, newsletters, and marketing outreach initiatives. Create marketing materials, presentations, and event collateral. Work with web developers on web site changes and SEO. Events & Lead Generation Help organize and promote Magnitech-hosted events (lunch-and-learns, cybersecurity briefings, community partnerships). Support lead generation by building warm introductions and booking qualified meetings. Track outreach and engagement activities and help maintain follow-up consistency. Partnership Development Build relationships with referral partners such as CPAs, attorneys, insurance brokers, and local business groups. Coordinate partner meetings and help develop co-marketing opportunities. What Success Looks Like Increased local visibility and brand recognition for Magnitech. Consistent pipeline activity through introductions, relationships, and events. Strong engagement and consistency across Magnitech's marketing channels. A growing network of referral partners and community relationships. Qualifications Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Experience in marketing, community engagement, events, or business networking. Comfortable speaking with business owners and professionals. Organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple initiatives. Professional presence and confidence representing a local business. Comfortable learning managed IT and cybersecurity messaging (training provided). Preferred Experience Chamber of Commerce experience B2B marketing experience Event planning or sponsorship coordination Business development or lead generation exposure
