Job Description
Job Summary The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for executing and supporting Josselyn's marketing, communications, and digital content strategies across multiple channels. This role manages the organization's website, internal intranet, and bi-weekly newsletter, ensuring content is current, accurate, and aligned with brand standards and user experience best practices. The position also designs and produces print and digital marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite, supports fundraising, campaign, and event communications, and oversees project and vendor coordination for marketing initiatives, including print production, promotional items, and media placements. Essential Responsibilities and Metrics Manage Josselyn's website, including updates to high-traffic pages and development of new, engaging content, ensuring information is accurate and aligned with brand standards, user experience best practices, and clear communication of services and mission Oversee and update the internal SharePoint intranet to ensure content is organized, current, and easily accessible to staff Develop and execute the bi-weekly newsletter, Talk, including content coordination and timely distribution Use Adobe Creative Suite to design and produce print and digital marketing and communications materials, including flyers, signage, digital graphics, event materials, and internal communications assets, in alignment with organizational brand guidelines Support fundraising and communications initiatives, including annual appeals, newsletters, social media content, and events, in coordination with internal stakeholders and external vendors Manage end-to-end marketing project coordination and vendor relationships, including print production, promotional merchandise, event materials, and campaign deliverables, while overseeing vendor sourcing, quote comparison, timelines, quality control, and on-time execution Plan and execute media and advertising placements, including maintaining media lists and coordinating print and digital advertising schedules with external publications Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field Experience (3+ years) in marketing and communications Proficiency with WordPress, including content updates, page design and creation, and site management Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, including newsletter production and audience management Strong writing, editing, and content development skills for print and digital channels Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders
