Job Description

DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
The Manager of Service Excellence Department - Volunteers Programs oversees the talent and contributions of community members who volunteer throughout Berkshire Health Systems (BHS) , providing a high quality experience to volunteers and a strategic and quantifiable contribution to BHS . This role expands the definition of volunteers to a broader context. Working with the Patient Experience Department, the Office of Advancement and Community Relations/Philanthropy function (internal and external) to build relationships and enhance resources through engagement and communications with important constituencies of

College degree preferred.
License, Certification & Registration:
None Other Requirements:
Must possess project management skills. Has a strong organizational and communication skills; established contacts and positive relations within the Fairview Hospital community as a proven track record of collaboration with community organizations; strong computer skills, familiarity with Blackbaud; positive attitude; professional presentation; ability to handle complex individuals and situations and trouble shoot problems; available to work events and emergency situations when necessary; adhere to privacy and confidentiality standards.
