Property Manager Position Summary We are seeking a motivated, outgoing, and results-driven Bilingual Apartment Leasing Specialist to join our leasing team. This position is responsible for generating qualified leads, conducting apartment tours, converting prospects into residents, and building strong relationships within the surrounding community. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish , with the ability to read, write, and communicate professionally in both languages . A major focus of this position is proactive community outreach and relationship building. Key Responsibilities Respond to leasing inquiries and follow up with prospective residents. Conduct professional apartment tours and explain community amenities, floor plans, pricing, and qualifications. Process applications and assist prospective residents throughout the leasing process. Maintain accurate prospect and leasing records. Meet or exceed leasing and occupancy goals. Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community partners. Conduct consistent community outreach to generate new leasing leads. Promote available apartments through online community pages, social media groups, and local digital communities . Establish relationships with local churches and faith-based organizations and participate in appropriate community outreach opportunities. Develop relationships with major local employers to generate employee referral and housing opportunities. Build relationships with community organizations, neighborhood groups, nonprofits, schools, and other local organizations . Identify and pursue new sources of qualified apartment leads through community networking and outreach. Represent the apartment community professionally at community events and outreach activities. Follow up with leads generated through outreach efforts and track results. Assist with resident retention, resident events, and other property marketing initiatives.
Bilingual Requirements Required:
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English and Spanish fluently . Must be comfortable communicating with prospects and residents in both English and Spanish. Must be able to prepare and understand written communications in both languages. Community Outreach Expectations This position requires an active, hands-on approach to lead generation . The Leasing Specialist will be expected to regularly develop new relationships and promote the apartment community through:
Online Community Outreach:
Local Facebook/community pages, neighborhood groups, social media communities, and other appropriate online platforms.
Church & Faith-Based Outreach:
Building relationships with local churches and community faith organizations.
Major Employer Outreach:
Establishing relationships with major employers and HR/community engagement representatives to create housing referral opportunities.
Community Organizations:
Networking with nonprofits, schools, neighborhood associations, civic organizations, and other community partners.
Community Events:
Participating in local events and activities that increase awareness of the property and generate qualified leads. Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish — reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension required . Previous apartment leasing, property management, sales, hospitality, customer service, or marketing experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professional, friendly, and confident personality. Strong follow-up and organizational skills. Comfortable with sales goals and lead-generation activities. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Comfortable using social media and online community platforms for professional outreach. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with community partners. Must be willing to actively participate in community outreach and networking activities.
