Full-Time About Us Unity Care Services is a community-based organization dedicated to supporting individuals facing mental health challenges, special needs, and homelessness. We provide access to safe housing, food assistance, and essential support services, helping individuals achieve stability and independence. Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Community Support Specialist to support vulnerable individuals within the community. This role involves direct care as well as identifying (scouting) individuals in need, connecting them to resources, and supporting their journey toward stability. Key Responsibilities Provide direct support to clients in the community Assist with access to housing, food, and healthcare services Identify and engage individuals with special needs, psychiatric challenges, or homelessness Conduct community outreach and scouting activities Support clients with daily living activities and personal development Carry out regular check-ins, follow-ups, and basic documentation Collaborate with team members and partner organizations Encourage independence and community integration Basic Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Experience in caregiving, outreach, or support roles is an advantage Good communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient, and dependable Ability to work independently and in a team How to Apply Submit your updated resume along with a brief cover letter detailing your experience and why you're the ideal candidate for this role.
