This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead outreach efforts, develop impactful programs, and build lasting relationships with diverse community groups. As a vital member of our team, you will champion community involvement, enhance visibility through strategic marketing, and support initiatives that improve public health and social well-being. Your energy, leadership, and dedication will drive positive change and strengthen our community networks. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive community engagement strategies aligned with organizational goals Manage volunteer programs by recruiting, training, supervising, and recognizing volunteers to ensure effective participation Lead public speaking engagements, workshops, and outreach events to raise awareness about our programs and services Design and execute community-based programs focused on public health, addiction counseling, social work, or related fields Oversee social media management by creating engaging content, monitoring interactions, and expanding our online presence Collect and analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness and inform future outreach efforts Coordinate fundraising activities and partnerships to support community initiatives and expand resources Supervise staff or volunteers involved in outreach activities, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service delivery Experience Proven experience in volunteer management, supervising teams or programs within a community setting Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences confidently Demonstrated success in program development, project management, or social work related to public health or social services Experience in marketing or social media management to promote community initiatives effectively Background in data collection, analysis, or reporting to measure program impact accurately Familiarity with addiction counseling or public health principles is a plus Administrative experience in coordinating events, recruiting participants, or managing budgets is highly desirable Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaborative relationships Prior experience in fundraising efforts or grant writing can enhance program sustainability Join us as a Community Engagement Specialist and be a catalyst for positive change!
