Job Description

Community Associate - HOA Portfolio Management Are you an organized, dependable professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping communities thrive? Braesael Management Company is an independently owned and growing HOA management company located in Matthews, North Carolina. We are seeking a full-time Community Associate—often referred to within the industry as a Community Manager—to oversee a portfolio of homeowner and condominium associations. This position is ideal for someone who can confidently manage multiple priorities while providing responsive, professional service to board members, homeowners, vendors, and fellow team members. We value strong character just as much as professional experience and are looking for someone who demonstrates sound judgment, accountability, integrity, and a genuine commitment to serving others well. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned association boards. Develop positive, professional relationships with board members, homeowners, vendors, and community partners. Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day needs of assigned communities. Prepare for and attend board and association meetings. Assist boards with implementing community policies, procedures, and governing-document requirements. Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor services. Monitor open projects and ensure timely follow-up. Review financial information and assist boards with annual budget preparation. Work closely with Braesael's accounting, administrative, legal, and inspection teams. Maintain organized records, correspondence, meeting materials, and community information. Manage multiple deadlines and priorities with consistency and attention to detail. Qualifications A minimum of two years of HOA, condominium, community association, property management, or closely related experience is preferred. A bachelor's degree is preferred. Familiarity with CINC community association management software is strongly preferred. Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer-service and relationship-building abilities. Exceptional organization and time-management skills. Ability to prioritize responsibilities and follow through on multiple assignments. Professional judgment and effective problem-solving skills. Strong ethics, integrity, discretion, and accountability. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. While industry experience is preferred, we are willing to train an exceptional candidate who possesses strong transferable skills, the right character, and a genuine desire to learn the community association management industry. Why Join Braesael? At Braesael Management Company, our Community Associates are supported by a collaborative team that includes administrative, accounting, legal, customer-service, and community-inspection professionals. This team structure allows our Community Associates to focus on building strong board relationships, overseeing their communities, and delivering attentive, professional service. If you are looking for an opportunity to grow with an independently owned company where your work, ideas, and contributions are valued, we would enjoy speaking with you.
