We create one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Our goal is to support young people ("Littles") by pairing them with caring adult mentors ("Bigs") who help them realize their full potential. Position Summary The Match Support Specialist is responsible for monitoring and support mentoring relationships to ensure child safety, healthy relationship development, and participant satisfaction. This role provides coaching and resources for both volunteers and families, tracks match progress, and helps ensure that every match thrives. Key Responsibilities Monitor and assess match relationships to ensure safety, growth, and satisfaction Provide coaching and support per Big Brothers Big Sisters of America standards Maintain timely and accurate documentation Identify and address challenges in match relationships; facilitate solutions Coordinate training and enrichment activities for matches Collaborate with team members and community partners to support matches Support agency outreach, recruitment, and fundraising efforts Participate in agency events, including Bowl for Kids' Sake and Big Night Ball Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in social services, human resources, or a related field Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong communication, assessment, and interpersonal skills Ability to relate to diverse populations and manage multiple tasks Reliable transportation to commute to Morrisville, NC office
Preferred:
