Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a results-driven and experienced BDC Team Lead to build our Business Development Center (BDC) at Marburger Chevrolet. The BDC Representative will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department driving growth through effective communication, lead management, and customer service strategies. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience, a solid understanding of CRM systems, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Duties Lead Management:
Oversee the distribution and handling of all incoming sales leads, including phone calls, emails, chats, and web inquiries.
Performance Monitoring:
Develop and monitor KPIs, ensuring team members follow up with leads promptly and consistently to drive appointments and sales conversions.
CRM Expertise:
Utilize CRM systems to track customer interactions, manage lead pipelines, and ensure accurate reporting.
Customer Experience:
Maintain and enhance the dealership's customer engagement and satisfaction by implementing best practices in communication and follow-up.
Process Improvement:
Continuously assess and improve BDC processes to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and customer engagement.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales team, marketing department, and management to align strategies and meet sales targets.
Reporting:
Provide regular reports on BDC performance, conversion rates, and appointment show rates to dealership leadership.
Training:
Ensure ongoing training and development of BDC staff to maximize their performance and customer interaction skills.
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience managing a BDC in a dealership setting or similar sales environment. Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Proficient in CRM systems and lead management tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. A proven track record of driving results and achieving sales goals. Automotive industry experience preferred.
