Your Role & Responsibilitie s As a Home Visit Specialist, you will: Conduct in-person home visits to connect with families and provide crucial support. Use communication and relationship-building skills to foster trust and engagement. Share important school and district resources with families. Provide reminders about key deadlines, missing documents (e.g., immunization records), and deliver materials such as welcome packets, devices, and food when needed. Document all home visit outcomes in the Home Visit and Student Engagement App. Attend pre- and post-visit meetings with school and district personnel as needed.
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Valid car insurance and reliable transportation. Cell phone and/or tablet with internet access. Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated professional. Availability to work evenings (no later than 8:00 PM) and weekends. Able to work a maximum of 30 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least an Associate's Degree in a related field. Experience in home visits, documentation, and case management (e.g., Social Worker, Behavioral Specialist, Probation Officer). Comfortable using technology (Google Meet, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Zoom, etc.).
