To lead community-level marketing initiatives that drive student engagement, brand awareness, and in-game experience.
Career Readiness Competencies :
Communication Professionalism Teamwork Develop and execute community-based marketing campaigns that align with overall brand and business objectives. Identify and cultivate relationships with BGSU student group leaders, influencers, local organizations, and key stakeholders. Organize and attend games, pop-up events, and partnerships to promote the brand and engage directly with target audiences. Distribute marketing materials (flyers, posters, samples, etc.) in strategic locations across campus. Track social media followers and engagement. Monitor trends, feedback, and competitor activity at the community level and recommend improvements. 1-2 years of experience in grassroots marketing, field marketing, community organizing, or a related field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable with public speaking and community engagement. Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple local campaigns simultaneously. Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Familiarity with BGSU athletics.
