Job Description
Help empower the next generation of leaders. For more than 50 years, HelpLine has provided compassionate support to individuals and families throughout our communities through 24/7 crisis intervention, resource navigation, prevention education, advocacy services, and volunteer programs. Every day, our team helps people navigate some of life's most difficult moments. We're looking for an energetic, collaborative, and community-focused Youth Engagement Coordinator to lead youth leadership initiatives and deliver evidence-based prevention education throughout Delaware and Morrow Counties. This position works directly with youth, schools, and community partners to promote healthy relationships, violence prevention, suicide prevention, and overall youth wellbeing while empowering young people to become leaders in their communities. What You'll Do As our Youth Engagement Coordinator , you'll inspire and empower youth while strengthening prevention efforts throughout the community by: + Coordinating and facilitating youth leadership councils in Delaware and Morrow Counties. + Recruiting, mentoring, and supporting youth leaders through relationship building and ongoing engagement. + Guiding youth-led awareness campaigns, advocacy initiatives, community service projects, and prevention activities. + Planning and delivering evidence-based prevention programs in schools and community settings. + Serving as the primary facilitator for the Youth-Led Councils, Thank Goodness I'm Me (TGIM), TGIM Advisory Board and Community Action Plan. + Building collaborative relationships with schools, community partners, and internal teams to support prevention goals. + Managing classroom engagement and facilitating interactive presentations for youth and adult audiences. + Collecting program data, evaluating outcomes, and maintaining required documentation and reports. + Supporting prevention initiatives through outreach, program planning, and continuous quality improvement. + Participating in professional development and performing other duties that support the success of HelpLine's Prevention Department.
