In this role, you will lead the strategy, content, and day-to-day execution of our flagship website, email campaigns, and digital communications, ensuring that every click, post, and message reflects and amplifies Walsh's Catholic mission. You will serve as the primary web content administrator for walsh.edu, managing updates, structure, and quality control so our site stays accurate, user-friendly, and mission-centered. As a tech-savvy digital communicator, you will navigate content management systems, web integrations, and vendor partnerships with ease while coordinating a robust communications calendar. From the Walsh Wire e-newsletter and social media to alumni and fundraising email campaigns, you'll be at the center of our efforts to inform, inspire, and engage key audiences. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, mission-driven professional who enjoys blending digital strategy, hands-on content management, and collaborative creativity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Content management of the University's external website (walsh.edu), online events calendar, Walsh Wire weekly e-newsletter, email campaigns and social media network Works cross-enterprise for annual maintenance and strategic planning of web content Analyzes Google Analytics, provides reports and makes recommendations for improvements based on web metric trends Oversees the development and distribution of Walsh University's email communications to various external audiences including the quarterly e-newsletter, alumni, fundraising and special event invitation emails Stays up to date with current web technologies and serves as primary liaison with website related vendors Provides graphic design support as needed for various internal and external marketing projects as back up to the senior graphic designer This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) of this position. Education:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, web development, or a related field required.Work Experience:
Previous experience required. Preferably 3-5 years of demonstrated successful industry experience in marketing and branding efforts including emerging and traditional media. (experience in higher ed preferred) Skills and abilities: Professional demeanor and ability to interact with charity towards students, staff and faculty. Positive attitude a must. Robust knowledge of digital content systems management, web administration Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and analytical skills and demonstrate the ability to solve problems. Graphic design experience a plus Some knowledge of html coding a plus Keen attention to detail Proven ability to deal effectively, cooperatively, and tactfully to provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
