The Agency Relations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting and strengthening our network of member agencies across our 11-county service area. This position works directly with food pantries, meal programs, shelters, and community organizations to expand access to nutritious food, strengthen local hunger relief efforts, and ensure agencies have the tools and support they need to serve their communities effectively. What You'll Do Agency Support & Relationship Management Serve as the primary liaison between Second Harvest and assigned member agencies throughout the region. Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, partners, and local leaders. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to agency questions, concerns, and requests. Support agencies with ordering assistance, product concerns, technical support, and resource navigation. Inform agencies of available programs, opportunities, and resources that strengthen hunger relief efforts. Community Outreach & Capacity Building Develop a strong understanding of assigned counties, including demographic and geographic trends related to hunger and poverty. Gather and maintain data to help identify gaps in food access and opportunities to strengthen community food resources. Recruit and onboard new member agencies through outreach, site visits, and pre-admission interviews. Coordinate and attend community meetings to encourage collaboration, resource sharing, and local partnership development. Program Compliance & Monitoring Conduct agency site visits and maintain ongoing communication with network partners. Monitor compliance with food safety standards, membership requirements, and organizational policies. Support the implementation of new policies and procedures across the agency network. Track and coordinate required reporting and data collection related to individuals served by member agencies. Program & Distribution Support Help coordinate agency trainings, workshops, and educational opportunities. Direct Produce Express Mobile Pantry distributions within assigned service areas. Place food orders for SHFB programs as needed. Collaborate across departments to ensure efficient and responsive service to agencies and communities. What You'll Bring A passion for community impact and helping address hunger and food insecurity. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with a wide variety of audiences. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to problem solve, make independent decisions, and manage multiple priorities. Flexibility and willingness to travel throughout the service area. A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellent customer service. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education and experience will be considered. 1-2 years of experience in community outreach, nonprofit work, human services, or a related field preferred. Valid Pennsylvania driver's license required. FoodSafe and ServSafe certifications required within six months of hire. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based software required. Knowledge of nonprofit organizations, volunteer engagement, and community relations is a plus.
