Job Description
Are you a results-driven communications professional passionate about public affairs, legislative strategy, and grassroots engagement? As a mid-level Communications Professional, you will play a key role in supporting the agency's larger, more complex public affairs accounts while independently leading strategy and campaign execution on smaller client accounts and projects. In this role, you will build advocacy coalitions, advance client objectives, and strengthen relationships with community stakeholders across energy, infrastructure, and other regulated industries. With talent in Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and DC, Bravo Group helps organizations find clarity in chaos so they can see clearly and act decisively. Key Responsibilities Account Leadership & Client Management :
Oversee strategy and execution for complex accounts, manage work streams, define project goals, and ensure all deliverables meet client deadlines and quality standards.Public Affairs & Community Outreach :
Build coalitions through direct stakeholder engagement, implement advocacy strategies (specifically for Pennsylvania legislative processes), and act as the primary liaison for community events and public inquiries.Media Relations :
Foster media relationships to secure coverage, provide strategic crisis communications, pitch stories, and manage spokesperson preparation.QualificationsEducation & Experience Education :
Bachelor's degree in Public Affairs, Political Science, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field required.Professional Experience :
7+ years of relevant public affairs, public relations, or community outreach with media relations experience. Experience in energy, infrastructure, or regulated utility industries is strongly preferred.Government/Campaign Experience :
PA state or federal legislative, agency, or political campaign experience is a plus.Key Skills & Capabilities Legislative & Policy Knowledge :
Working understanding of the Pennsylvania legislative and regulatory process, along with baseline familiarity with federal legislative processes.Media Network :
Established relationships with regional, local, and trade media contacts.Communication Skills :
Outstanding written, verbal, and copy-editing skills with an ability to translate complex regulations and issues into crisp, compelling narratives.Digital & Technical Proficiency :
Proficient in using digital platforms, social media, CRM systems, and media monitoring tools.Travel Requirement :
Valid driver's license and the ability and willingness to travel regularly within Pennsylvania for stakeholder meetings and events.Work Style :
Proactive, organized, and team-oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios independently in a fast-paced agency setting.Job Type:
