Role Overview As an Account Supervisor at JCI, you will manage a portfolio of client accounts in the clean energy and sustainability spaces. You will oversee team coordination and professional development and have the opportunity to contribute to new business development. Key Responsibilities Manage client accounts in the clean energy and sustainability sectors, serving as a primary point of contact and strategic resource Lead client and internal meetings with a clear sense of team accomplishments and upcoming deliverables to fulfill the scope of work Conduct media pitching and engage with journalists on op-eds or interviews Oversee event coordination from concept through execution, including logistics, collateral, recap materials, and talking points Craft client memos and recap documents that, with minimal edits, can be forwarded to clients Facilitate internal brainstorming sessions and proactively contribute ideas to projects Build and maintain relationships with CBO (community-based organization) partners, clients, and key allies Contribute to new business development efforts, including relationship building, events, and outreach Help oversee Account Coordinators and Associates, support workload prioritization, and contribute to their professional development Required Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of full-time public affairs, public policy, or communications experience Strong project management skills Ability to build and maintain relationships with key allies and contacts Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong writing skills — both creative and professional Experience working with nonprofits Social media experience, including proficiency with Canva Experience working with AI tools and creating AI-powered products or workflows Experience 2+ years of full-time work experience required. A background in public affairs, public policy, communications, or nonprofit work is preferred. Experience or interest in climate and/or clean energy technology is ideal. Internal & External Relationships Internal Regularly make recommendations to the senior team on how to improve projects Leverage the full account team to complete the scope of work at top quality and within contract terms Consistently move into problem-solving mode when challenges arise Demonstrate respect for colleagues at all levels and contribute to a positive work environment External Build and maintain relationships with clients and relevant stakeholders Pitch op-eds and media pieces to relevant publications Conduct outreach to CBOs in support of coalition building for client campaigns Represent JCI or clients at industry or skill-specific meetings or conferences Reporting Structure The Account Supervisor reports directly to the President and Senior Advisors who lead their assigned team. They may also collaborate across teams on additional client projects as capacity allows.

$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
