Through training, community engagement, and leadership development, we help organizations create more human-centered, dignity-centered solutions. The Change Leader Alliance is a Think Tank initiative that supports individuals with lived experience of poverty in developing their voice, leadership, and influence while helping communities build more authentic partnerships and lasting solutions. Position Overview Think Tank is seeking a motivated and relationship-centered AmeriCorps VISTA member to help strengthen the systems, partnerships, and tools needed to grow the . This is a capacity-building role focused on creating sustainable outreach tools, recruitment processes, partnership strategies, communication resources, and program systems that help CLA grow beyond the service year. Key Responsibilities Strengthen CLA systems, tools, workflows, and onboarding materials Help document a clear engagement pipeline for engagement Support recruitment & follow-up systems for individuals with lived experience of poverty Gather input from current Change Leaders and staff to strengthen dignity-centered engagement practices Identify and support outreach to community partners in Clark, Champaign, Montgomery, and Greene counties Create or improve partner tracking tools and outreach materials Gather stories, data, quotes, and program highlights to support communication and fundraising Assist with an annual report, impact piece, donor messaging, and sustainability materials Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is organized, thoughtful, relational, and passionate about community change. They believe people with lived experience should help shape the solutions, and lived wisdom is needed for system change. Preferred Skills and Qualities Strong written and verbal communication skills Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable building relationships with community partners Interest in poverty alleviation, leadership development, and community engagement Respect for the wisdom and leadership of people with lived experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with Google Workspace, spreadsheets, or basic tracking tools preferred Storytelling, marketing, fundraising, or nonprofit experience helpful but not required Benefits This position is part of the AmeriCorps VISTA program.

Benefits include:

Annual living allowance/salary: $24,962 Housing stipend: $200 per month
