Chapter Director - Safe Families for Children About Safe Families for Children Safe Families for Children (SFFC) is a faith-based organization that surrounds families facing crisis with compassionate support to keep children safe, families together, and communities strong. Through our core values of Radical Hospitality, Disruptive Generosity, and Intentional Compassion, we partner with churches, volunteers, and community organizations to provide temporary care, mentorship, and family support. Position Summary The Chapter Director provides strategic leadership for the local Safe Families chapter by expanding community impact, strengthening church and community partnerships, overseeing high-quality services for families, supporting staff and volunteers, and helping secure funding for long-term sustainability. This is a hybrid position with a strong emphasis on community engagement. Key Responsibilities Lead the local implementation of Safe Families' mission and ensure quality service delivery. Build and maintain relationships with churches, community organizations, referral partners, and local leaders. Recruit, develop, and support volunteers, including host families, family coaches, and family friends. Oversee family support services and ensure child safety and policy compliance. Supervise and mentor staff while fostering a positive, mission-driven culture. Partner with the Regional Director to develop strategic partnerships and affiliate relationships. Assist with fundraising, donor engagement, grants, sponsorships, and community outreach. Represent Safe Families within the community and help expand the organization's impact. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Ministry, or a related field (Master's preferred). Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in nonprofit management, church leadership, community engagement, or a related field. Experience building partnerships with churches, nonprofits, and community organizations. Knowledge of volunteer recruitment and engagement. Experience with fundraising and donor relations. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills. Passion for serving families in crisis and advancing a faith-based mission. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment. Safe Families For Children is an equal opportunity employer.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
