Job Description
Job Summary The Communications and Marketing Manager leads NMPCTC's strategic communications, marketing, and brand management efforts in support of the organization's mission to strengthen New Mexico's healthcare workforce through graduate medical education, faculty development, and statewide collaboration. This position develops and executes communication strategies, manages digital and multimedia platforms, creates compelling marketing materials, and partners with internal staff and external stakeholders to promote NMPCTC initiatives and partner organizations. Duties Develop and implement organization-wide communications and marketing strategies that advance NMPCTC's mission and strategic priorities. Support the Director of Operational Development with external communications, messaging, and stakeholder engagement. Develop and maintain a consistent organizational brand, voice, and visual identity across all platforms Design and produce presentations, reports, infographics, publications, promotional materials, and other creative assets. Manage NMPCTC's website, social media platforms, and digital communications. Develop, produce, and manage multimedia content including videos, podcasts, webinars, photography, and digital campaigns. Create and maintain an editorial calendar and develop content for newsletters, email campaigns, press releases, blogs, and social media. Coordinate research, outreach, recruitment, and scheduling of speakers for statewide didactic and faculty development programming. Support internal communications, organizational planning, and cross-functional projects. Provide communications, branding, and marketing consultation to partner organizations. Develop branding, messaging, and visual identity materials for partner organizations. Create promotional materials and marketing campaigns supporting partner initiatives. Assist partner organizations with website content, social media strategy, and digital communications. Collaborate with partners to develop communication plans for internal and external audiences. Cultivate community engagement and strengthen NMPCTC's visibility through strategic outreach and marketing initiatives. Monitor communication analytics and recommend improvements based on performance metrics. Legislative and public affairs communications Grant and funding announcement communications Annual report development Event marketing and conference promotion Media relations and press releases Organizational storytelling and impact reporting Perform other duties as assigned.
