Summary:
Our client is a global public health and safety organization who is looking for a Corporate Communications Contractor. The Corporate Communications Contractor will support our team during a period of transition and growth. This role will help fill critical team gaps and provide hands-on execution across internal communications, brand communications, and change initiatives, ensuring consistent, clear, and engaging messaging for employees and external audiences. The ideal candidate is a versatile communications professional who can quickly ramp up, manage multiple priorities, and balance strategic thinking with strong execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This role will play a key part in helping employees and stakeholders understand, navigate, and adopt change. The Corporate Communications Contractor will have 5-8 years of experience handling internal and external communications.
Corporate Communication Contractor Job Requirements:
5-8 years of experience in corporate, internal, brand, or integrated communications (contract experience a plus). Proven ability to write and edit clear, concise, and engaging content for diverse audiences. Experience supporting internal communications in a corporate or complex organization, including change or transformation initiatives. Strong understanding of brand voice, messaging, storytelling, and communications strategy. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently with minimal oversight. Ability to build trusted relationships quickly with leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments where priorities may shift Preferred Skills

  • Highly skilled in creating presentations (PowerPoint)
  • Background in global or enterprise communications
  • Direct experience supporting change management, transformation or culture initiatives

Corporate Communication Contractor Job Responsibilities:
Internal Communications and Change Management Develop and execute internal communications that keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with company priorities, with a strong focus on supporting change, transformation, and business evolution Partner with communications leadership to shape and deliver change communication strategies that help employees understand the "why," "what," and "how" behind shifts in strategy Temporarily oversee global town halls and leadership events from concept to delivery, including agenda and content development, production of the event, messaging alignment, and leadership preparation Draft and edit content, including employee announcements, leadership messages, intranet articles, talking points, presentations, and email communications Partner with leaders and cross-functional teams (HR, Legal, Divisions, etc.) to translate complex, sensitive, or ambiguous information into clear and compelling messages Support change readiness and adoption by sequencing communications thoughtfully, anticipating employee questions, and developing FAQs, toolkits, and leader-ready materials Ensure consistency of tone, voice, and messaging across internal channels Brand Communications and External Strategy Support public relations and external communications efforts that strengthen and protect the company's brand and reputation during both steady-state and change-driven moments Draft and edit PR materials, including press releases, media pitches, fact sheets, executive bios, FAQs, and key messages aligned to broader business and change narratives Help manage day-to-day media relations support, including tracking coverage, responding to media inquiries, and coordinating with internal subject matter experts Assist with proactive storytelling by identifying newsworthy moments, thought leadership opportunities, and brand narratives that reinforce strategic priorities and organizational direction Support issues management and reactive communications by helping prepare messaging, statements, and briefing materials, particularly in situations tied to change, transformation, or risk Ensure all external communications are accurate, on-brand, strategically aligned, and consistent with internal messaging Collaborate with marketing, business and leadership teams to ensure coordinated and cohesive communications across audiences and channels Team Support, Strategy and Execution Serve as a flexible resource to cover workload gaps, peak periods, and priority change initiatives Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing urgent execution with longer-term strategic considerations Provide strategic input on messaging, sequencing, and channel selection while remaining highly execution-focused
  • Proactively identify communication risks, gaps, or opportunities related to change and recommend practical solutions
