Role:
We are seeking a Director of Public Relations & Social Media to lead our media presence, manage brand storytelling, and drive strategic growth across all communication platforms. This individual will play a key role in shaping how our mission and message are shared with the world — across social media, news outlets, podcasts, and digital publications. The ideal candidate is a visionary communicator with the creativity of a storyteller, the precision of a strategist, and the confidence of an experienced media liaison. You'll oversee daily social media management for our primary and affiliated brands, develop cohesive multi-platform campaigns, and identify opportunities for high-impact visibility — including radio and TV interviews, podcasts, influencer collaborations, and digital media features.
Key Responsibilities:
Public Relations & Media Outreach Develop and implement a comprehensive PR strategy to strengthen our national presence across television, radio, podcasts, and digital publications. Secure and coordinate media appearances for our physicians, executives, and founder — including interviews, guest segments, and speaking engagements. Build and maintain relationships with journalists, podcast hosts, and media outlets to ensure ongoing coverage and thought leadership opportunities. Draft press releases, feature articles, and media pitches that highlight key medical innovations, patient success stories, and company milestones. Collaborate with leadership to ensure all communications reflect our mission, brand values, and compliance standards. Social Media Leadership Oversee daily management and growth of multiple social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn) across several business units. Develop and execute strategic social media campaigns aligned with our marketing goals, patient education efforts, and treatment awareness initiatives. Collaborate with physicians, internal teams, and creative partners to produce engaging, brand-aligned content — including posts, videos, reels, stories, and live Q&A sessions. Create content calendars supporting medical awareness months, clinical breakthroughs, and patient success stories. Coordinate influencer partnerships, paid social campaigns, and brand collaborations to expand reach and audience engagement. Ensure all content and communications adhere to HIPAA, FTC, and internal brand guidelines. Analytics & Reporting Track and analyze performance metrics across PR and social channels to measure engagement, growth, and ROI. Provide monthly reporting on PR reach, media coverage, and social impact using data to refine strategies. Monitor competitor activities, emerging trends, and platform updates to keep our businesses at the forefront of digital innovation.
Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience in public relations, social media management, or digital communications, ideally within healthcare, wellness, or medical marketing. Proven success in securing earned media placements (TV, radio, podcasts, and online publications). Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in content creation, storytelling, and community engagement. Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills; ability to adapt tone for media, social, and corporate audiences. Experience managing paid social campaigns and budgets ($10K+ monthly spend). Proficiency with analytics and creative tools (Google Analytics, Meta Suite, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, etc.). Knowledge of HIPAA and FTC compliance for healthcare communications. Familiarity with CRM systems (GoHighLevel, Salesforce) preferred. Comfortable leading on-camera interviews and collaborating with production teams for video and podcast content. What We Offer Competitive compensation and performance-based incentives.
