The role evaluates the effectiveness of engagement activities and prepares after-action reports. The position is also responsible for facilitating Transdev's presence within target markets by supporting speaking engagements, thought leadership initiatives, award submissions, and sponsorship opportunities. The engagement specialist also supports the development and implementation of marketing and communications initiatives and action plans.

Annual Salary Range :

$58,000

•72,000 Benefits may vary depending on location policy. The below represents the standard Corporate Policy.

Key Responsibilities Lead community engagement initiatives that strengthen relationships with industry partners, clients, and community organizations Develop and manage annual community outreach and engagement calendars that align with organizational priorities Facilitate and promote employee recognition programs, engagement initiatives, volunteer activities, and culture-building events Coordinate the planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, sponsorships, client events, and industry engagement opportunities across all business lines Monitor and evaluate engagement activities, participation metrics, and sponsorship outcomes Track event and sponsorship budgets Coordinate the development and distribution of branded promotional items to support Business Development, employee engagement, recruitment, and community outreach Partner with internal stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and prioritize engagement and outreach opportunities Coordinate trade show logistics, booth design and production, sponsorship fulfillment, advertising placements, attendee engagement activities, and client hospitality events Support the development of event collateral, including invitations, know-before-you-go communications, promotional materials, signage, and giveaways Monitor industry conference opportunities and coordinate submission of speaker proposals, panel abstracts, award nominations, white papers, and thought leadership content in coordination with external communications Facilitate collaboration with subject-matter experts and business leaders to secure speaking engagements and elevate organizational visibility within target industries Track engagement activities and contacts using Transdev's customer relationship management (CRM) portal Support client and customer engagement activities as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, sales, hospitality management, or related field Three or more years of relevant experience in a corporate environment Transportation and/or public transit experience preferred Proven ability to manage high-impact engagement activities and events that drive measurable outcomes Location and Travel Position based at the Transdev U.S. headquarters in Lombard (Chicago), Illinois.
