Internal Communications shapes Coinbase's employee experience and reinforces our mission, strategy, and culture. This individual contributor role reports to the Director of Internal Communications and will serve as a strategic communications partner to Executive/senior leaders ensuring best-in-class internal communications in an AI-native company. What you'll do Own complex communications plans, from strategy and planning through execution and analysis. Advise leaders and partners bringing a deep understanding of the company mission, strategy and culture as well as the needs and dynamics of the team(s) you support. Support and execute team-wide and company-wide events (i.e. drafting presentations and talking points, advising on event flow and structure, preparing speakers, etc.). Proactively identify opportunities and build systems, including AI-enabled tools and workflows, that uplevel and scale internal communications across a globally distributed, remote workforce. Measure communications effectiveness using data, feedback, and experimentation to drive continuous improvements. Partner with Internal and External Communications teammates and cross-functional partners to support proactive and reactive communications and coordinate internal issues and change management. Required Skills and Experience 7+ years of experience in internal, external, or corporate communications, media/journalism, product marketing, or another writing-intensive role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a consistent focus on clarity and brevity. Experience partnering with leaders and cross-functional stakeholders on communications initiatives, with examples of ability to influence stakeholders and adapt work style accordingly. Demonstrated ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots in daily workflows, maintain human oversight, and deliver business-ready outputs that improve efficiency, cost, or quality. Resilience and an even-keeled in face of organizational change, shifting priorities, and communication with a highly distributed or remote workforce. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritize multiple workstreams, move between strategy and hands-on execution, balance speed and quality, and develop fluency in crypto. Able to think and do, someone who can both generate ideas and is proactive in implementing them. Able to balance speed and quality, with an acute sense for what matters most in a given moment.

  • Base salary varies by location (see range below). Total compensation may also include equity and bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)). Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus): $170,765—$200,900 USD
