Marketing & Communications Manager Description:
We are seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to join Circuit Arts during a planned transition in our marketing andmunications leadership. This role includes an initial overlap period of approximately one month, during which the iing Manager will work closely alongside the current Marketing & Communications Manager to ensure continuity, d oversight of day-to-day operations, and a smooth transfer of responsibilities upon the current manager's departure. The Marketing & Communications Manager will lead and strengthen marketing andmunications systems across all programs and venues. The role is central to shaping how audiences connect with Circuit Arts and how our programs are represented publicly across theanization. The Manager will oversee day-to-day marketing operations in collaboration with internal teams and external creative partners, ensuring consistent, high-qualitymunications and a clear,pellinganizational voice across digital, , press, and in-person platforms. This role requires a high degree of independence, stronganizational judgment, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while collaborating closely with colleagues across departments. The position reports to the Managing Director. Location Requirement This is an in-person position based on Martha's Vineyard. Candidates must reside on Martha's Vineyard. Regular on-site collaboration, event support, and participation inanizational activities are essentialponents of the role. Remote applicants will not be considered. Key Responsibilities Marketing & Communications Develop and implement marketing andmunications strategies for Circuit Arts programs and events Maintain and manage a year-round marketing calendar in coordination with programming and production teams Coordinate and updateanization s to ensure accuracy and timeliness Write, design, and schedule e-blasts, newsletters, and digitalmunications Manage and grow social media presence across platforms, in alignment withanizational voice and mission Support media relations, including drafting and distributing press releases and coordinating outreach Support audience engagement strategies across all Circuit Arts programs Manage online merchandise sales and related customermunications from order through fulfillment Collaborate with the Circuit Arts marketingmittee to align on strategy, messaging priorities, and campaign direction Asset Creation & Coordination Oversee the creation, coordination, and production of and digital marketing materials, including posters, programs, advertisements, signage, and web assets Manage relationships with designers, copy editors, photographers, videographers, and other creative contractors Maintainanized archives of marketing and media assets Coordinate marketing needs for special campaigns, festivals, and seasonal programming Collaborate with the development & box office manager to support donormunications, sponsorship recognition, and fundraising campaigns Support production staff with audience-facing materials and presentation needs for events ing & Administration Track marketing metrics and campaign performance and use insights to inform strategy Maintainanized records of marketing materials, timelines, and vendor or contractor relationships Hours & Schedule This is a full-time, year-round position (40 hours per week). The role follows the seasonal rhythm of Circuit Arts programming, with periods of increased workload during festivals, major events, and peak programming cycles. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends is required to support performances, screenings, and special events. Qualifications:
4+ years of professional experience in marketing andmunications, with demonstrated responsibility for independently managing projects and campaigns Proven ability to plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns in a professional setting, including content creation, audience engagement, project coordination, and deadline management Strong professional writing, editing, and brand voice development skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Proficiency with core marketing and design tools and platforms, including Squarespace, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator or equivalent), Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp (or similar email marketing platforms), and Google Workspace, with the ability to both create and adapt visual design assets and quickly learn new systems as needed Experience collaborating with designers, photographers, videographers, and other creative contractors, with the ability to support hands-on production and design needs when required Stronganizational judgment,munication skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment Interest in arts, culture, film, theater, live events, andmunity-based programming Must reside on Martha's Vineyard and be available to work on-site.
