QC Media is seeking a motivated, organized, and creative individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Publicist Assistant for our brand new Reality TV- Talk Show - No prior experience is necessary—comprehensive training will be provided to help you succeed. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop essential skills in media relations, press releases, social media management, and more, all while working in a vibrant, fast-paced environment. This role is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in media, entertainment, public relations, branding, and digital marketing. The ideal candidate is passionate about media relations, community engagement, women's empowerment, and helping build a growing media platform. Training will be provided. We are looking for someone who is dependable, eager to learn, comfortable with social media platforms, and ready to grow within the organization. Responsibilities Prepare , support, manage & update press kit, biography and promotional material Research and identify potential speaking opportunities, conferences, panels, workshops, community events, universities, organizations, and leadership programs aligned with QC Media. Assist with creating and maintaining a speaking engagement database including event organizers, contacts, deadlines, and follow-up communication Assist with outreach and introductory communication to event planners, organizations, and potential partners Maintain professional calendar including speaking engagements, interviews, appearances, meetings, and media commitments Coordinate communication regarding event details, scheduling, travel requirements, and appearance expectations Assist with preparing promotional materials for appearances, including social media announcements, event flyers, and post-event highlights Track speaking opportunities, invitations, confirmations, and follow-up activities Assist with managing public image and ensuring consistent branding across all platforms Capture and organize photos, videos, testimonials, and media coverage from public appearances for future promotion Support relationship building with event organizers, community leaders, media professionals, and strategic partners Helpful Experience Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging content. Excellent research skills to gather relevant information quickly and efficiently. Basic understanding of AP style (Associated Press style) for journalistic writing. Comfortable speaking publicly or presenting ideas clearly in meetings or events. Familiarity with social media management tools and platforms is a plus. Attention to detail for proofreading and editing materials accurately. Previous experience in journalism, marketing, or public relations is advantageous but not required—training will be provided!
