HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Regional Advancement Manager is responsible for implementing the strategic fund-development plan that will provide long-term viability and thriving of Lutheran Community Services NW (LCSNW) in the Spokane and Idaho regions. The ideal candidate has an innovative and proactive mindset with a passion for internal and external teaming, motivation to create and maintain successful diversified fundraising streams, and a drive to build new, sustainable donor populations while stewarding long-time partnerships and funding sources. Reporting to the Strategic Advancement Director, this role requires enthusiasm for working with a mission-driven team to make a real and lasting difference for the future of the clients we serve as a dynamic and diverse nonprofit. Donor Stewardship- Build and maintain strong relationships with current donors, ensuring regular communication, appreciation, and engagement to retain and increase their support through exceptional customer service. New Donor Acquisition
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential new donors, including individuals, businesses, community programs, and religious organizations to expand the donor base and increase funding sources. Fundraising Campaigns and Events
- Plan, organize, and execute successful fundraising campaigns and events to generate significant revenue and increase community engagement. Team Collaboration and Management
- Collaborate effectively as a member of the Advancement, District, and Shared Services teams, contributing to clear communication and solid teamwork. Advocacy and Partnership
- Promote and showcase regional programs/services through written communication as well as presentations to community, corporate, government, congregational, and civic groups in partnership with the Communications team and District staff. Data Monitoring, Tracking, and KPI Attainment
- Manage all donor/data tracking through Customer Relationship Management software including data entry, activity tracking, trend monitoring, etc. Data monitoring will also include staying up to date on Advancement Team Key Performance Indicators. - Demonstrate qualities of growth mindset with willingness to grow and develop their learning around fundraising, leadership, and LCSNW.
HOW YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT
3 years of related fund-development experience within a nonprofit or government relations setting with a proven track record of success. Experience managing teams/personnel preferred. Bachelor's or equivalent degree in related field/Equivalent experience considered. Fluency in English, both spoken and written. Must be able to write and speak effectively for donor-facing communication including client stories, donor acknowledgements, and presentations. Fluency in data, especially related to monitoring regional trends in fundraising and campaign performance including reports, graphs and tables. Intermediate mastery of business applications and productivity suites. Demonstrates resilience, awareness and self-regulation in navigating challenges, conflict and obstacles/barriers. Thrives in and embraces a diverse and multicultural environment; works with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to enhance end-user experiences throughout the service lifecycle. Demonstrates exceptional commitment to serving and advocating for diverse and marginalized populations. Successfully completes tasks in varied environments, including a moderately noisy environment at times. Interacts with others and performs tasks in-person and using technology, with potentially long periods of stationary activity and potentially long periods of increased physical activity including and not limited to driving, overseeing events, transporting materials related to outreach and events, and giving presentations to large groups. Moves equipment/materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Travels between worksites, meetings, events, donor engagement, program outreach, and community events regularly; Requires valid driver's license, auto insurance, motor vehicle records clearance, and access to dependable transportation. Works in various settings, including and not limited to LCSNW office locations, partner agency and community-based settings, outdoor settings in varying weather conditions, businesses, and faith-based settings such as churches. This role is hybrid with an expectation of regular days most weeks in Seattle/SeaTac based office, as well as traveling as needed for donor related responsibilities. Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and other job-relevant clearances as required by the State or program Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Thank you!
