Job Description

Community Relations Intern:
The South Carolina Stingrays are seeking outgoing, energetic, and hardworking individuals to be a part of their internship program for the 2026-27 season! The Stingrays internship program provides current college students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain relevant experience in their desired field and learn the operations of a professional sports organization. The Community Relations intern will be responsible for providing assistance to the Community Relations Manager with all planning, coordinating, and execution of community programs, initiatives, and events.
Responsibilities:
Attending community and mascot appearances. Scheduling and coordination for programs such as "Hometown Hero", "Salute to Service" and "Assist of the Game" . Creation of community contact lists and ability to locate and connect with nonprofit organizations. Working as a part of the promotions team on game days. Additional responsibilities assigned by the Community Relations Manager.
Qualifications:
