IDR is seeking a Director of PR to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Dallas, TX. In this leadership role, you will oversee a high-performing PR team while driving integrated communications strategies for a diverse roster of B2B and B2C clients. This is an exciting chance to shape brand narratives, elevate thought leadership, and deliver impactful media relations across multiple industries within a fast-paced agency environment. Position Overview for the
Director of PR:
Lead PR strategy and execution for multiple client accounts across B2B and B2C audiences. Guide positioning and messaging, proactive media relations, and thought leadership initiatives. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior-level stakeholders, providing counsel on communications challenges and reputation management. Manage, mentor, and develop a team of PR professionals to ensure strong performance and growth. Partner with agency leadership to support client retention, new business opportunities, and overall agency growth. Requirements for theDirector of PR:
8-10 years of PR or communications experience, including prior agency experience. Proven ability to lead integrated PR campaigns across both B2B and B2C sectors. Demonstrated experience supporting clients across multiple industries (including areas such as food & beverage and banking). Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling stories. Strong strategic leadership skills with experience advising senior-level clients on reputation and communications strategy. What's in it for you?
