Job Description
Responsibilities Strategy & Planning:
Define and manage the annual social media marketing strategy, serving as the subject matter expert to position UWorld ahead of the competition.Team Leadership:
Develop, manage, and mentor a team of social media employees to ensure consistent execution, high-quality content delivery, and continuous performance improvement.Content Management:
Manage the strategy for social media content creation, ensuring it highlights the benefits of UWorld's educational tools.Collaboration:
Work as part of a shared services team that includes designers, videographers, and content writers. Partner with product marketing managers and internal teams to deliver targeted content and develop creative concepts for campaigns.Performance:
Create, regularly measure, and report on marketing metrics to inform strategy and increase visibility and engagement.Brand Voice:
Ensure a consistent brand voice and enforce UWorld brand standards across all social platforms.Optimization:
Implement SEO and SEM best practices within the social media strategy. Requirements Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. Demonstrable experience in social media marketing strategy, content creation, and digital marketing. Strong knowledge of AP style and brand guidelines for professional, consistent, and accurate communication. Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well within a team environment with competing priorities and collaborate across teams. Proven experience managing, mentoring, and developing a social media team, including setting priorities, coaching performance, and driving results. Proven experience reporting on social media performance and presenting insights, recommendations, and results to executive leadership and/or external clients.
