Job Description

Data Center Project Manager - Telecommunications / Low Voltage Full‑Time | DFW Metroplex A growing DFW‑based technology infrastructure leader is seeking an experienced Data Center Project Manager with a background in telecommunications and low‑voltage construction . This is a full‑time opportunity to lead complex data center projects from planning through close‑out. Under the general direction of the COO and/or Program Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for end‑to‑end project delivery , including planning, scheduling, cost control, subcontractor coordination, safety compliance, quality assurance, and client satisfaction. What You'll Be Doing Project Planning & Initiation Develop detailed, cost‑effective project plans and schedules (Gantt charts, schedules of values, labor and resource plans) Select, coordinate, and manage subcontractors across multiple project phases Identify safety requirements and ensure required PPE is procured and used Interpret and apply federal, state, local, and data‑center‑specific regulations Review technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment with the Purchasing team Identify project risks and create mitigation plans Establish Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) plans Ensure compliance with data center standards and customer requirements Project Execution & Control Track schedule, budget, and scope to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget Monitor progress and manage plan modifications as needed Oversee subcontractors and ensure all work meets engineering specs and applicable codes Supervise technicians; review reports and approve timesheets Enforce safety policies and address violations immediately Lead, coach, and support project teams to meet operational goals Review staffing, processes, and equipment usage to maximize efficiency Manage change orders in collaboration with Accounting and General Contractors Ensure change work proceeds only with approved documentation Identify and resolve issues impacting schedule, cost, or quality Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, clients, and external partners Project Close‑Out Manage close‑out deliverables (as‑built drawings, test results, warranties, documentation) Ensure all deliverables meet client acceptance standards Confirm all change orders are closed Coordinate final billing and payment with Accounting and Clients Document lessons learned during and after project completion What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent project management experience 3-5+ years' experience of Project Management experience with t elecommunications or low‑voltage construction projects Project Management experience within data center environments Strong understanding of construction schedules, budgets, and project controls Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Proficiency with common project tools (Word, Excel, databases, CAD software) Strong organizational, mathematical, and problem‑solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment Valid driver's license (or ability to obtain prior to employment) Familiarity with industry safety standards and compliance requirements Experience leading field teams and subcontractors Physical & Work Environment Ability to work extended hours as needed Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in construction environments Regular standing, walking, bending, crouching, and climbing Moderate to loud noise levels typical of construction job sites Work may involve outdoor conditions and inclement weather Benefits & Perks Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Vacation and Holidays Employee Incentive & Reimbursement Programs Career growth opportunities with a stable and growing company Why Join Us? $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
