Position Information Position Title Dual Enrollment Engagement Manager Requisition Number S02368P Position Category Staff Campus Location Weber State Davis - Layton, UT Hours per week 40 Months per year 12 Alternate work schedule Pay Grade E32 Salary FLSA Exempt Job Summary/Basic Function High School Dual Enrollment (HSDE) is a program that allows high school students to earn college-level credits while completing their high school credentials. Concurrent enrollment courses are taught at the high schools, with students paying $5 per credit hour. This allows students to access college-level courses at a significantly reduced rate where students can earn a credential when graduating high school. Under the direction of the Director of High School Dual Enrollment, the Manager of Engagement is responsible for designing and implementing strategies that broaden WSU HSDE's reach and deepen its impact within the community. This role balances high-level strategic planning with on the-ground execution to increase engagement between WSU HSDE and students, parents, high schools, communities, and WSU academic departments. The Manager of Engagement is primarily responsible for strategic communication with all partners. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, email campaigns, social media campaigns, website development, student-centered events, and parent information sessions.
Required Qualifications Required:
Master's degree in education, marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience Two years of full-time employment in a related field
Preferred Qualifications Preferred:
One year of supervisory experience. Experience creating and managing outreach plans for a variety of stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage an array of audiences, including students, families, and educators. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Experience building collaborative partnerships with a broad range of organizations (tech colleges, K-12, community, etc.) A successful candidate will be willing to Background Check?
