Job Description
Pulaski County Sports and Entertainment is seeking a full-time Marketing and Communications Manager responsible for developing and executing marketing and communications strategies to promote sports and entertainment, including the county's venues, events, and community initiatives. The role involves overseeing brand management, digital marketing, content creation, social media, advertising, public relations, and promotional campaigns to increase visibility, attendance, and visitor engagement. The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic marketing professional skilled in managing multiple channels and creating engaging content. Key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, supporting event promotion, and representing the sports and entertainment department as a key ambassador. The position reports to the Sports Tourism and Entertainment Director and requires strong organizational and multitasking skills in a dynamic environment. This position requires a flexible schedule, occasionally including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support facility operations, tournaments, programs, and special events. Some evening and weekend attendance is expected to assist with community events and operations. The salary scale for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 and is commensurate upon education and experience.
