Community Engagement Assistant•Employee (.5 FTE)Hours:

On-site / ART House 360 About the Role ART House 360 (AH360), is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to create access and inclusion to arts education and arts programs for our diverse, multigenerational community so that more people may have transformative arts experiences. AH360 is seeking an organized, community-minded, and detail-oriented Community Engagement Assistant . In this role, you will wear a few different hats—acting as a logistical anchor for our community events, keeping our facility operations running smoothly, and serving as a welcoming face for our visitors and partners. If you love the arts, enjoy building administrative systems, and want to help foster a vibrant community space, we would love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities Community Programming & Events Event Logistics:
Assist with the logistical planning and execution of ART House events and rental agreements (including managing space, volunteers, and materials).Calendar Management:
Maintain the ART House calendar, serving as the primary point of contact for tenant events and shared operations. Collaborate with the Community Outreach role to balance income-generating events with community and tenant events.Data & Media Collection:
Track participation, attendance, and basic evaluation metrics for annual reports. Collect photos/videos during events and implement feedback surveys.Social Media:
Post and promote events across social media platforms.Facility Operations & Asset Management Administrative Systems:
Create and maintain robust administrative systems for AH operations, document retention, policies, space scheduling, and overall business support.Team Liaison:
Act as a liaison to the Volunteer Coordinator to support front-of-house and program logistics.Infrastructure Tracking:
Implement tracking systems for building inspections, warranties, and contractor service records.Concessions:
Manage the operational logistics, inventory, and staffing for the AH360 concessions stand.Maintenance & Safety:
Oversee building safety protocols and coordinate supplemental facilities maintenance.Community & Partner Coordination Relationship Support:
Provide administrative support and coordinate logistics/materials for outreach initiatives and ongoing relationships with community partners and collaborators.Hospitality:
Act as a warm, welcoming presence for community members and visitors whenever working on-site. Core Skills & Qualifications Strong organizational skills with experience building or maintaining administrative and filing systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a hospitality-first mindset. Ability to coordinate logistics across multiple moving parts (events, volunteers, vendors). Proficient with social media platforms and basic data tracking/survey tools. Ability to work flexibly and independently in a community-facing environment. Spanish language proficiency a strong plus. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Arts Management, Communications, Fine Arts or a related field preferred; OR 2-3 years of experience in administrative support, event coordination, stage management or office management.
