The ideal candidate will have expertise in communications planning and analysis, media and social media analysis, and a strong understanding of military culture. This role requires developing effective communications products and while adhering to Army branding guidelines, AP Stylebook, and Army.mil style guide. The Communications Strategist will play a key role in stakeholder analysis to ensure messaging aligns with organizational goals and audience needs. •This position is pending funding and will be fully onsite.•Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive communications plans that support organizational objectives. Conduct media and social media analysis and reporting to inform communication strategies and measure effectiveness. Create and produce a variety of communications products, including press releases, articles, social media content, and internal communications. Ensure all communications adhere to Army branding guidelines, AP Stylebook, and Army.mil style guide standards. Perform stakeholder analysis to identify key audiences and tailor messaging accordingly. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain consistent and effective communication efforts. Stay informed on military culture and current events to ensure relevant and respectful messaging. Required Skills and Qualifications Proven experience in communications planning and analysis. Strong skills in media analysis and social media analysis including the use of analytical tools. Knowledge and understanding of military culture and protocols. Ability to develop clear, concise, and engaging communications products. Familiarity with and ability to follow Army branding guidelines, AP Stylebook, and Army.mil style guide. Experience conducting stakeholder analysis to inform communication strategies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
