Global Executive Development (GED) is seeking a strategic Sr. Communications Specialist , to shape and execute communications that support the development of Amazon's most senior leaders across all business units. From crafting compelling program narratives and executive-facing content to building scalable communications strategies for flagship development programs, you will be a critical partner in bringing GED's mission to life. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with a bias for action, has strong writing instincts, and demonstrates the ability to translate complex leadership development concepts into clear, engaging messages for senior audiences. Key job responsibilities Develop and execute integrated communications strategies that support GED's flagship offerings ensuring consistent messaging across all touchpoints and audiences Create compelling, executive-ready content including program narratives, leadership communications, talking points, and speeches for senior stakeholders Build and manage editorial calendars and multi-channel content plans that align with program milestones, registration cycles, and organizational priorities Partner closely with program managers, HRBPs, and business unit stakeholders to translate complex leadership development concepts into clear, engaging communications for senior leader audiences Own communications for new program launches and strategic initiatives, including developing positioning, stakeholder messaging, and change communications as GED evolves its portfolio Establish scalable communications frameworks, templates, and standards that enable consistent quality across GED's growing suite of programs and career-stage pathways Monitor and assess the effectiveness of communications efforts, using feedback and engagement data to continuously improve content strategy and delivery Support the development of thought leadership content that reinforces Amazon's Leadership Principles and Day 1 culture, contributing to GED's role as a center of excellence for executive development About the team The SLX organization enables senior leaders to build and run exceptional businesses in an era of unprecedented scale, complexity, and rapid change by aligning business strategy with talent strategy through three core pillars: executive development, organizational planning and effectiveness, and executive talent management, amplified by analytics and science capabilities and dedicated go-to-market expertise. GED designs and delivers leadership experiences that onboard, assess, and develop Amazon's senior leaders throughout their entire leadership journey. Executive talent management defines and executes the talent philosophy for the executive lifecycle, including cyclical deliverables such as facilitating VP promotions and preparing for Board succession planning.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Program Management, Human Resources, Employment Law, Computer Science, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research or a related fieldPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
