Duties Develop and implement community outreach programs that align with organizational goals, fostering trust and collaboration. Serve as the primary point of contact for community members, organizations, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and positive communication. Manage social media platforms and online channels to promote events, share success stories, and increase visibility within the community. Coordinate public speaking engagements, workshops, and informational sessions to educate and inspire diverse audiences. Build partnerships with local organizations, businesses, volunteers, and public agencies to expand outreach efforts. Collect data on community needs and feedback to inform program development and measure engagement impact. Support fundraising efforts by organizing events, campaigns, and volunteer management initiatives that bolster community support. Requirements Proven experience in media relations, public relations, or community outreach roles with a focus on strategic communication. Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage audiences of varying sizes confidently. Proficiency in social media management and social media marketing strategies to maximize outreach efforts. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse populations. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with a knack for storytelling and relationship building. Experience in volunteer management, business development, or fundraising is preferred. Ability to plan strategically while managing budgets and resources efficiently. Demonstrated ability to collect data, analyze trends, and adapt outreach tactics accordingly.
