Full Job Description Description Job Overview:
The Specialist, Strategic Communications will support the organization's vertical products and strategic solutions: Support marketing campaign strategy, craft messaging, and execute each product's go-to-market strategy. In addition, the Specialist, Strategic Solutions will support the organization's public relations initiatives to reinforce the brand's industry-leading position and to impact business from both current and prospective customers. The Specialist, Strategic Communications will prioritize work and execute initiatives end-to-end, with prescriptive guidance from the Vice President, Strategic Communications. Execution includes developing content, research, briefing, reporting, and cross-functional coordination. Success in this role depends on independent work skills, strong judgment, organizational skills, and the ability to reduce complexity for stakeholders and partner teams.
Your Responsibilities:
Support a variety of initiatives critical to the organization's brand position Translate business objectives into clear, actionable marketing strategies and plans, documented in writing and communicated clearly to stakeholders, including goals, audiences, sequencing, timelines, and success metrics Drive initiatives through delivery, measurement, and optimization Content development and execution Develop creation of briefs, messaging frameworks, and written content derived from strategic initiatives Write and edit content for a variety of initiatives, including but not limited to articles, website content, email copy, social copy, brochures, guides, sell sheets, case studies and presentations Synthesize research and insights to support strategy and content development Maintain ownership of quality and outcomes Execute promotional plans and sales enablement initiatives to maximize exposure and growth opportunities Ensure timely closure and documentation of all deliverables Measurement, reporting and follow-through Align on success metrics for programs and campaigns prior to launch Track performance and report outcomes clearly and consistently throughout campaign Evaluate performance metrics and support strategies to enhance programs Translate results into insights and recommendations for next steps Close the loop with stakeholders through written summaries and updates Project coordination and operating discipline Utilize Asana for project planning, status, and follow-through Independently prioritize (and re-prioritize) workload to meet competing demands without reliance on constant direction Simplify requests, timelines and approvals for partner process
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, communications or marketing, or a related field Minimum one year experience in marketing and communications-related roles (marketing, agency) Exceptional presentation, writing, editing, and briefing skills (AP style preferred) Demonstrated experience owning initiatives end-to-end with minimal tactical direction Strong strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution capability Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment as well as independently (self-motivation and self-direction) Ability to work with sensitive or confidential information Detail oriented and strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and meet assigned deadlines Tech savvy; demonstrated experience using AI tools to research, process data, and produce content Work experience in Excel, PowerPoint required Experience using HubSpot and Canva a plus
