Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
This role is responsible for leading Sauer's brand, market presence, and community engagement across its affiliated companies. The position ensures consistent messaging, develops marketing content, and supports leadership with materials and initiatives that enhance the company's reputation, recruiting efforts, and visibility in key markets. This role operates at the corporate level and supports, but does not lead, business development efforts within the operating companies. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1.
Central Resource for Marketing Materials and Support Across Operating Companies Maintain clear, professional, and consistent branding Maintain project information, photos, marketing files, and related databases. Coordinate with external vendors, including design, website, photography, video, and logo/brand support providers. Support operating companies' marketing needs as appropriate. 2. Content Development & Communications Translate project and technical information into clear, client-focused messaging. Independently source marketing content, including photos and videos, to support communications and brand visibility. Develop and maintain templates, presentations, project sheets, resumes, and other marketing materials to support business development efforts. Prepare proposals and qualification materials Manage digital marketing strategy and content schedules for Sauer websites, , and other social media. Coordinate with traditional local and national press media for additional brand visibility Develop and maintain marketing content for company announcements and other internal communications. 3. External Presence & Industry Engagement Coordinate company participation in industry organizations and events, including ABC, ULI, Jax Chamber, career fairs, conferences, and related opportunities. Support preparation of materials for meetings, presentations, award submissions, and external engagement. Help maintain a consistent and professional presence in target markets. 4. Community & Engagement Initiatives Coordinate volunteer and community engagement efforts across offices and job sites Work with HR and operations to support participation in local initiatives Track and communicate activities internally and externally 5. Event & Brand Coordination Coordinate logistics for company events, conferences, meetings, and industry engagement activities. Manage company-branded materials, including business cards, hardhat stickers, name plates, signage, and standard collateral. Support recurring ticket and event coordination, including Jaguars, TPC, and other special events. Support planning and execution of company events in coordination with HR and leadership. Ensure external-facing events and materials align with company branding and messaging.
QUALIFICATION 5
years of marketing, communications, proposal coordination, or related experience. Experience in construction, engineering, architecture, or professional services preferred. Experience with proposals, qualifications materials, websites, , Canva, or Adobe InDesign preferred. Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Comfortable working across teams and supporting multiple business units.
