Full Job Description Overview:
The Strategic Communications Coordinator supports enterprise communication strategies through the administration, optimization and day-to-day management of the Carle Health employee communications platform.

This role plays an important part in helping communication move effectively across a large, complex and fast-moving organization and serves as both a communications and platform operations partner, helping ensure the right information reaches the right audiences at the right time through clear governance, audience strategy and effective channel management.

The coordinator is responsible for building innovative solutions to communications challenges while maintaining communication audiences, supporting content publishing workflows, providing training and troubleshooting support, managing platform standards and helping improve communication reach and engagement across the enterprise.

This position requires a blend of general database query logic and best practices, strategic communication skills, digital platform administration, audience segmentation logic, operational organization and data-informed decision making.
Responsibilities:
Platform Administration & Governance:
Innovative solution provider to communication challenges that build value for the organization. Maintain audience accuracy and support ongoing data quality efforts.

Manage platform structure, publishing workflows, channel organization, audience rules and communication standards. Administer of daily operations and technical contact for platform vendor.

Support governance and consistency across enterprise internal communication channels.

Maintain communication calendars, publishing schedules and platform documentation.

Troubleshoot publishing, targeting and distribution issues in partnership with internal stakeholders and vendors.
Audience Strategy & Segmentation:
Build, manage and optimize employee audiences and targeting logic within the platform.

Develop audience rules using organizational, geographic, operational and role-based data.

Ensure communications are appropriately targeted and aligned to business needs.

Partner with leaders and stakeholders to identify communication needs and audience requirements.
Internal Communications Support:
Publish and distribute internal communications across multiple channels and formats.

Support enterprise communication campaigns, operational updates, leadership communications and organizational initiatives.

Serve as a strategic partner in helping leaders navigate communication channels and audience strategy. Assist in content formatting, optimization and channel alignment for employee audiences.

Support communication planning and execution for system initiatives, events and organizational priorities. Support training, onboarding and guidance related to employee platform and communication best practices.
Analytics & Optimization:
Monitor communication performance metrics, including engagement, reach and audience effectiveness.

Support testing and optimization efforts related to audience targeting and communication effectiveness. Identify trends and recommend improvements based on user behavior and engagement data. Translate analytics into actionable insights and recommendations to strengthen communication strategy and optimize platform performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media, Information Systems or a related field; or equivalent experience.

Salary Range:
The compensation range for this position is $28.82per hour - $49.57per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
