Job Description

The Visual Communication Specialist will be responsible for building INvestEd's digital marketing campaigns and creating brand and mission awareness through an effective social media strategy. This role will focus on design and maintaining brand consistency across all platforms, ensuring that messaging and visual identity align with organizational standards. Additionally, the role involves examining trends and improving digital and social media campaigns to support the goals of INvestEd. Design and regularly update organization-branded materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital assets, to ensure alignment with INvestEd's brand standards. Review and revise existing branded content to improve consistency in visual identity across all marketing channels and platforms. Collaborate on content strategy for INvestEd's social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram), including research, copywriting, scheduling, and analytics. Track and analyze engagement metrics to gain insight into traffic, demographics, and effectiveness of current strategies. Provide training and support to staff on social media best practices, ensuring consistent messaging and professional use across platforms. Collaborate with leadership to monitor media trends, legislative developments, and public conversations in Indiana that could impact or inform INvestEd's strategy or tactics. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute outreach campaigns that target students, families, educators, and policymakers. Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools such as Canva, & Figma Photo, video, and audio editing skills Experience with web design and website platforms (WordPress, etc.) Adapts content output to suit different delivery platforms Proven ability to drive engagement across multiple social media platforms Demonstrated time management and planning abilities Organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint Ability to work independently with sound judgement and to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines Ability to analyze information and solve practical problems Bachelor's degree or equivalent four-year college or technical school, Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or other related field preferred Valid Indiana driver's license

$58,000.00 per year
